And, the author of this blog.
Before, I am not really into blogging but then when I started working, I also began to appreciate the craft. I realized that through blogging, I could continue writing. So allow me to tell you how my passion for writing and literature started...You might not be aware but ever since grade school, I was already into writing. I wrote poems (some of them you could see in my fiction press account), short stories, essays and even a novel.
When I was in sixth grade, I joined our school's publication. It was this time when I first competed for my school in an inter-school competition. Luckily, I won.
In high school, I continued writing. I still joined the school paper and also participated in various contests. I wrote poems about my crush, enemies and bestfriends. Words became my weapon.
As I entered college, an unexpected incident happened and led me to enrol as a Literature major. In the university, I met so many people who are into Literature. Some are crazy, some are ecentric. Some are weird in a creepy way and some are just plain weird.
My two years as a Literature major was fun. Yet, I felt as though there's something lacking. So despite the objections of classmates and professors, I shifted to Journalism. Then I also joined in University of Santo Tomas official student publication, The Varsitarian. I graduated 2006 in UST AB Journalism.
Well, I didn't end up as a journalist at all. But don't get me wrong, I got no regrets. Really.
Right now, I am still able to practice my craft through blogging and through some freelance jobs. But that's when I got some free time. Usually I'm very busy working now as SEO Specialist.
